Financial Support

The International Society for Psychophysics (ISP) announces a limited fund to support students and scientists who have difficulties to pay for travel costs, who wish to actively attend the annual ISP meeting 2010 in Italy by giving a presentation (oral presentation or poster, including submission of a full text proceeding) and attending the business meeting. The support includes free participation (including lunch, coffee, conference proceedings book and other things), free membership for one year, and a partial payment of travel expenses up to a maximum of 300-800 Euros depending on travel distances.

Given that all the abstracts have to be submitted to  fechnerday@unipd.it within the extended deadline (June 27th  2010), applications for the travel grants, including a short CV and title and abstract of the presentation should be sent to the President of the ISP, Prof. Thomas Lachmann < lachmann@rhrk.uni-kl.de > before August 31st 2010.
